After massage it is not unusual to experience side effects such as sore or aching muscles (which should disappear within 24-48 hours), headaches or drowsiness. To minimise this:
- Drink plenty of fresh water to eliminate any toxins released during the massage
- Avoid drinking tea, coffee or alcohol (and other drinks containing caffeine)
- Substitute caffeine drinks with herbal teas, fresh fruit juice and water
- Rest as much as possible after your massage
